Henry R. Strickland, Pastor

Hello and Welcome to Charity Baptist Church online! We have uploaded many audio files that we hope will bless, and enrich you spiritually.

If you are ever in Central Texas we would like to invite you to come and worship with us, and if it is Gods will we would love to serve the Lord together with you. We are a small country church with a big heart at Charity Baptist Church. If you are looking for a church that will help you grow, this is it. If you are looking for a place to serve and minister to others, this is it. If you believe in or need discipleship training, this is the place. Love children ministries? Come check us out.

The Bible tells us in John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. This is the heart of a real Christian. We are a church that Loves God and one another, and would like to invite you to come join us.

Serving God is a joy not a burden. Imagine your child one Saturday waking you up saying I Love You. I have made you breakfast in bed. That would be special wouldn't it? Your heart would be full of joy, knowing they love you, and your child would see that joy. Seeing your joy, gives them joy also. This is the same heart in which we should serve our Heavenly Father. By pleasing Him, we have joy in our hearts, and souls. This is the heart in which we worship and serve God at Charity Baptist Church.

Come join us and see if CBC is the place God would have you to be!

My Testimony

Our Church’s Testimony

In April of 2005 the Lord began calling Pastor Henry Strickland to start Charity Baptist Church. On Sunday, May 29th 2005 Charity Baptist Church held its first worship service with three families. These families were looking for a church to attend. We were not formed from a church split, but formed by the call of God. Our primary goal is to serve God with all our hearts His way, according to His Word, with love.  We do not serve Him because it is our job or duty, but simply because we love, and desire to please Him in all we do.
